We collect information in three main ways: (1) information you provide, (2) information collected automatically, and (3) information from service providers.

• Account / contact information: if you join our waitlist or contact support, we may collect your email address and any information you include.
• Usage and device information: basic analytics about how the App and Site are used (e.g., feature usage, approximate device info, crash diagnostics).
• Purchases and subscription status: if you purchase a subscription, Apple processes payment information. We receive purchase status and entitlement information via our subscription provider.

• Provide, operate, and improve the App and Site.
• Communicate with you (e.g., TestFlight invites, important updates, support).
• Analyze performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us run the App/Site (e.g., analytics, infrastructure, subscription management).
• Apple for App Store distribution and in-app purchases.
• Legal or safety reasons if required by law or to protect users and our rights.

Island Vault may use third-party services for analytics and subscriptions. These providers process information according to their own policies.

• Analytics: we may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand usage and improve the experience.
• Subscriptions: subscriptions are handled through Apple In-App Purchases. We may use a subscription management provider to validate entitlements.

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

• Opt out of emails: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email. We may still send important transactional messages.
• Device settings: you can manage permissions in iOS Settings.
